1. Our commitment
Right Electricbelieves the people who hire us deserve a website that's easy to use, no matter how they navigate it. We design and build with accessibility in mind and treat any accessibility barrier as a bug to fix.
2. Conformance standard
We aim for substantial conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. "Substantial conformance" means most content meets the standard; some content may not yet, and we are working to close those gaps.
3. Accessibility features
The Site includes the following features by design:
- Semantic HTML with proper landmark roles (header, nav, main, footer).
- A single visible
<h1>per page and a logical heading hierarchy. - Skip-to-content link as the first focusable element on every page.
- Keyboard-operable navigation with visible focus styles on interactive elements.
- Color contrast that targets WCAG AA for body text and interactive elements.
- Form fields with explicit labels, required-field indicators, and accessible error messages.
- Reduced-motion support — animations are disabled when your operating system requests reduced motion.
- Text resizes with browser zoom without breaking layout up to 200%.
- Alt text on meaningful images; decorative images use
alt="".
4. Known limitations
We rely on a third-party chat widget and booking widget from LeadConnector. We do our best to surface those tools accessibly, but we don't control their internals and they may not meet AA in every case. If a third-party component blocks you, reach out using any of the methods below and we will help you complete what you need without using that tool.
5. Report a barrier
If you encounter an accessibility barrier — something on the Site you can't use or that's hard to use with your assistive technology — please tell us. We treat reports as priority bugs.
When you contact us, it helps to include:
- The page URL where the problem occurred.
- What you were trying to do.
- What happened (or didn't).
- Your browser, operating system, and any assistive technology you were using.
We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within two business days and to fix or provide a workaround as quickly as we reasonably can.
